Courtney Love quotes. Love (1964 - ) is an American musician and actress, best known as the lead singer of Hole. Although Love's career began in her late teens, her marriage to the late Kurt Cobain propelled her into the mainstream media's spotlight when she was in her mid-twenties.

In addition to her career as a musician, Love has starred in multiple films, most notably The People vs. Larry Flynt and Sid and Nancy.
